If you are thinking about whether or not to try this place - STOP THINKING AND DO IT! My husband, brother, his wife and I have done EVERY ROOM! The rooms are not linear, so you won't get confused if you jump around. Roger builds every room and detail - leaving nothing untouched, and it shows! The experience is totally immersive, and it starts at the front door - literally! You will not regret any room you try!

Had such a wonderful time at Key To Escape! We played two games as part of a company team building trip - Twist of Oz and Under Pressure. The games are intricate and beautiful and full of amazing effects! Roger and his staff are truly passionate about escape rooms, and our group thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them after our games. My friends and I have done several escape rooms here the past few years and they never disappoint. Most recently, we did the twist of oz room for my birthday. On top of having an amazing time in the room, we enjoyed speaking to Roger about how much goes into creating a room and the numerous computers making everything work. We’ve already scheduled to do top shelf elf before it ends for the season!

I have almost 300 escape rooms under my belt and can certainly say Key to Escape is an absolute gem! The fun puzzles, detailed sets, and incredible staff really puts them at the top of my list. I would say this is a must do not only for North Carolina but in the entire country. I can guarantee you'll come out of the place with a smile on your face whether you escaped or not. Check 'em out!

This was such good time!! Engaging staff (Addison was the best!!), great ambience with the location and well designed immersive rooms. Lots of puzzles to solve for the 8 of us in the Under Pressure room so no one was bored. Would 10/10 recommend these escape rooms and we will be back to do more!!
