My wife and I have completed over 10 escape rooms all over the country. Key to Escape was by far the coolest one we have been to. We did the Under Pressure room at 7 pm tonight. First, the space is really cool. It is a really old small church with some cool facts that you can learn about when you book a room. Addison was on duty tonight and he did not disappoint. To be honest, he was exceptional. A lot of thought has gone into Key to Escape in general, you can see it all around. Under Pressure was pretty difficult and we (party of 2) completed it with 0:48 seconds to spare. I highly, highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something to do in Statesville, with 2 people or 10. We would definitely come back to do the Oz Escape room 👍🏼

It was amazing! I went with 3 friends and we had a great time! Our host was great and so friendly. The history of the building was so interesting and I enjoyed it very much. Was a great experience and I will definitely be doing it again!!

There’s no place like home ! Wow wow wow ! The Key to escape in Statesville Nc is a hidden gem. It is one of the coolest escape rooms . The history behind the building is very neat in its self , but the the Twist of Oz room was out of this world . We felt like we were in Oz we followed the yellow brick road and had so much fun ! The experience was great. HIGHLY recommend checking this place out . Roger was awesome, he designs all the rooms, and the attention to detail I can’t even put in words. We will definitely be back

My wife and I did the under pressure room last night and it was hands down the best and most fun escape room we have ever done. The entire experience from beginning to end was amazing. Our guide Addison was phenomenal. He was informative, educational, helpful, and highly entertaining. The room was huge and put together so well. We will be going back for twist of oz and any room that opens in the future. Can not recommend highly enough.

If I could give 20 stars, I would do it in a HEARTBEAT!!! We were lucky enough to have the owner, Roger, run our room tonight and I am struggling to even choose the best words to explain our experience! He made it beyond memorable for us. We have done our fair share of escape rooms and this one was HANDS DOWN the best we’ve ever done. The local history related to the room was just the icing on the cake! If you’re in Statesville and enjoy escape rooms, this is a MUST DO!! Edited to add: We truly cannot wait to come back and do another room with them. Even a day later, none of us have stopped talking about how much fun we had and how beyond amazing the entire evening was- literally from walking up to puzzle to even get inside the building, all of the interactive decor in the lobby, the details in the rooms, the special prize after finishing the room- I’m serious when I say I cannot even come up with the words to describe it well enough. Yall have outdone yourselves. THANK YOU!!!
