This escape room is phenomenal! We’ve only done 3 or 4 escape rooms, but this is by far the best. We had such a fun time! Addison was great, too. Absolutely 5 stars!

Awesome experience second time to this location.. the owner and his staff are excellent and the experience is first rate every time .. be sure to bring a friend and enjoy the mystery ! My 12 year old son and wife both truly enjoyed the wizard of oz room!

We had a great time in the Under Pressure room, with Elise as our GM. Fun game, very parallel so you don’t get bottlenecked even with a fairly big group. A number of red herrings slowed us down. The building is a national historical place; it does require the ability to climb stairs. You can tell how much care the employees put into this place!

We LOVED the whole experience! We did the Oz room with family and it was a very whimsical and relaxed experience. I loved the background music and the art of the room. The staff was great and informing, giving us the background of the building and telling us about the owners. The whole place is a piece of Statesville history. We will definitely be returning!

We did Twist of Oz, and it was creative, engaging, and just the right level of challenging. The puzzles were well thought out and kept everyone involved. We had an amazing experience at Key to Escape! The room itself was incredibly creative, with great clues, impressive tech, and a super immersive setup, especially being in a historic church. Huge shoutout to Addison, our host. His passion for escape rooms really stood out and made the experience even better. You can also tell how much care the owners put into everything. Knowing they design the rooms themselves, including the puzzles, electronics, and overall experience, really shows. The detail and thought behind it are next level. What really sets this place apart is how personal it feels. They took time to share the history of the space and even walked through our game afterward with thoughtful feedback, which we have never experienced before. Easily one of the best escape rooms we have done. Highly recommend!

It was soooooo much fun! Me and three friends went and and did the Wizard of Oz escape room and it was a BLAST!! The mechanics of the room were put together beautifully and the staff were very fun and personable! 100% recommended!
