We have done many escape rooms in multiple different states and Key to Escape is undeniably the best one out there! The attention to detail as well as the quality of the rooms and props are second to none; as well as the amazing customer service! We are very impatiently waiting for the reopening and 100% understand the need to wait until it is safe to do so. My family and I have been to escape rooms from Chicago to NYC to SC and Key to Escspe is at the top of our list of favorites! The rooms are creative and have different effects that we have not seen elsewhere. The best part is that the staff and owners have always been amazing! You can tell they have a passion for what they do! Elise was a great game master. We will be back to play Oz.

I have done escape rooms across North Carolina as well as a few other states. I have played every room Key to Escape has offered and can say with certainty they are some of the best you will ever play. Every detail is considered when the rooms are built and it shows. The owners and employees are amazing people and just add to the overall experience. I can’t wait until they can open back up so I can ply the new “Wizard of Oz” themed room!!!

We took a youth group here while on a retreat about a little over a year ago and I am longing to return! The owners weregwere to work with in accommodating our larger by letting us have a bit of friendly girls vs. guys competition! I loved the room and this was by far my best escape room experience. The puzzles, thought and detail put into the room were unlike any others I had been to, or have been to since. Can't wait to find some reason to get back to this area and go again!

Went last year and played all of their rooms. Top notch! You can tell that the owners have a passion for their work and the community of Statesville and the tech behind the scenes is amazing. Love the local history spread throughout one. (No spoilers) Cant wait to return in the future when they open back up.

We have done many escape rooms in North Carolina and out of state. NC Key to Escape It’s like no other escape venue you will ever go to! Puzzles And themes are original and the owners design and create/fabricate them along with the props and effects. Every single game master we have had there is friendly and helpful and helps make the game experience one that is top notch. Also the owners come across as genuinely nice people who are invested in their community. If you were thinking of doing this escape room do it! You may not make it out of the rooms because they are challenging (If you were a first timer don’t be afraid to use your hints), but I guarantee it you will have a great time and you will be wowed!

This place is next level... We've done upwards of 60 escape rooms all over the country at this point and this place is home to 2 of 3 of my favorite rooms ever. The staff is friendly, the owners are super sweet and we stayed for a long time talking afterwards while Roger showed us how a few things worked. Amazing experience, highly recommend.

Visited two years ago and had a wonderful time. The owners took the time to get to know us afterwards, and gave us a tour of the upcoming rooms. I'm glad they're temporarily closed to take care of their own health in this COVID crisis.
