I highly recommend Key to Escape. The storytelling and attention to detail are amazing. I went with a group of 9, and we did the Redemption Room. Wow! We were so impressed with it. Everyone in our group wants to go again! The staff is amazing as well.

I have been to escape rooms all over the US. This is by far in my top 5. I do live in North Carolina but over the past 3 months I have completed all 3 of their regular rooms and their new Christmas room. Any room you do will be full of surprises and excitement. The location seems off at first but after doing the rooms and hearing the stories the team puts together it won’t cross your mind again. Every employee and owner I have met has treated me with kindness and respect. We laugh with them as well as learn from the experts! 100% recommend to anyone coming to visit Charlotte or any nearby areas. And especially for any escape room enthusiasts like myself!

Played the Nutty Holiday room for Christmas. Felt like the clues didn't really flow well together as they do in other escape rooms. Room was cluttered and busy - there was a lot of stuff in it but it didn't feel immersive. We escaped but it lacked the wow factor. Customer service was nice.

Kim and Roger are wonderful owners! They really are in love with making the players feel welcomed and very involved in the game! They take so much pride in their rooms and design and I can’t blame them. My husband and I were in Charlotte for an escape room weekend and they were our first stop! We did their redemption and under pressure room and both were amazing! If you are looking for something to do in statesville, I promise you won’t be disappointed! It’s in an old church, which is equally as awesome lol shoutout to Roberto for being an awesome game master for redemption (YOU DID NOT FALL ASLEEP)

This was our first escape room and we LOVED it! The staff was amazingly friendly, and the room we did was Under Pressure, it was awesome! We will definitely be back to try the other rooms.
