As a team building exercise my company paid for us to go to an escape room here in Vegas. I was left uninspired. It truly makes you appreciate the magic and wonder of what you have created in our small town when you, go to one of the great hot spots of the world for a similar product and miss your home town rooms. You really have an amazing product.

My family and I have been to Key to Escape 2 times. Both Roger and Matt were vital parts of our experience. The puzzles are challenging and well integrated into the various themes available. The set stages and rooms function seamlessly and are very interactive while retaining immersive gameplay. I cannot recommend Key to Escape enough. The team is very well engaged with positive feedback and helps both before, during, and after gameplay.

Our first-ever escape room experience, and it was unforgettable! We did the Wizard of Oz-themed room at Key to Escape, and it was an absolute blast. As total newcomers, we weren’t sure what to expect, but the owner, Roger, was fantastic—super friendly, patient, and took the time to explain everything so we felt comfortable and ready to dive in. The room itself was immersive, fun, and full of clever puzzles. It struck the perfect balance of challenging, exciting, and just the right amount of frustrating (in a fun, “we’re-so-close!” kind of way). We didn’t escape, but we got about halfway through—and we’re already planning to come back with friends to try again! If you’re new to escape rooms or just looking for a great time, Key to Escape is an awesome experience, highly recommend!!

Key to Escape is the best escape room we've been to and we've done over 10 different rooms from Charlotte to Myrtle Beach. Me and my 2 kids (10 and 12) were really impressed with all the little touches and rated it 10 out of 10. We did the Wizard of Oz themed room and can't wait to return for another room. It honestly doesn't even make sense that lil ol Statesville has an escape room this good folks. The quality is worth the cost. Why spend an hour doing an inferior room to save 60 bucks?

We had an awesome time!! The room was really well done, tons of puzzles of all difficulties, and the staff is really personable. We did the Under Pressure room and it was well decorated! I liked how much they stuck to the theme, and it even had some surprises! We will definitely be back, would love to take on the challenge of their Elf room! Matt really set us up for success and he had tons of knowledge to lend us! Highly recommend

If you are travelling within an hour of Statesville, plan time to go to Key to Escape. If not, find a time machine or some ruby slippers and go! From concept to design and implementation, these are the best escape rooms in the business. The rooms are basically movie sets including floors, walls and ceilings artistically crafted to immerse you in the story. The method to receive clues is even themed to each room. This past week, we did all three current escape rooms - Top Shelf Elf, Twist of Oz and Under Pressure. While did need a few clues along the way in each room, the escape game masters did not spoon-feed them to us. We still had the fun of figuring out a myriad of amazing puzzles.
