Played the Nutty Holiday room for Christmas. Felt like the clues didn't really flow well together as they do in other escape rooms. Room was cluttered and busy - there was a lot of stuff in it but it didn't feel immersive. We escaped but it lacked the wow factor. Customer service was nice.

Response from Key To Escape Glad you had good customer service. Holiday rooms often are so typical and we opted to try something very unique. I think the room is immersive but sorry you didn’t feel pulled in to the story line. It’s a bit of a sarcastic and witty look at holidays that may not click with everyone but we felt the use of video, audio and other automation to help flow from puzzle to puzzle adds a lot and is not the typical style for most places. Players that come in expecting us to be like everyone else often find quickly our style is unique. As reviews reflect... most love it but we know we can’t please everyone and are sorry we missed the mark with you. We love this room and feel it is a unique and fun deviation from the standard “Santa’s list” room. Additionally... the ball drop countdown is really loved by our guests. All of my rooms are busy but puzzle flow is well thought out with signposts and meta puzzles that lead to bigger reveals. We show actual photos of our rooms on this and other sites and I feel they are decorated well but not ever sparse like many facilities. A room with puzzles and no real decor can never be immersive. But i appreciate your feedback.
